The Second Dialogue of the China-Europe-America Museums Cooperation Initiative: Protection of Our Cultural Heritage will be launched on May 19. Moderated by David Gosset, founder of the China-Europe-America Global Initiative, the closing ceremony of the event will gather high-level personalities from the US Department of Commerce, Yi Tsai, East Langkun, and the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies, etc.

David Gosset
David Gosset, founder of the China-Europe-America Global Initiative, is a global affairs and international relations expert. He has received an honorary distinction by the King of Spain, the President of Italy, and the highest honor of his own country France, the Légion d'Honneur. He is the author of Limited Views on the Chinese Renaissance and the editor of the triptych China and the World.
Joan McEntee
Joan M. McEntee is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MKBC and Former Under Secretary for International Trade in the U.S. Department of Commerce. She has served in a number of senior international trade positions in the U.S. government, covering communication, transportation, aviation, defense and environmental issues. Over the years Ms. McEntee has maintained strong relationships with the China and was designated as an economic partner by China’s National Development and Reform Commission. Working with her vast array of Chinese relationships, Ms. McEntee has successfully assisted companies in raising their visibility, resolving problems, and expanding production.
Giamberto Giraldo
Giamberto Giraldo is the Co-founder, Board Member, and General Manager of Yi Tsai. He has 25 years of experience in the asset-management industry and in-depth knowledge of developing business in a dynamic financial world. From 2004 to 2009, Mr. Giraldo served as regional manager of the private banking department at Fideuram-Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking S.p.A., top private bank in Italy. Prior to that he worked as a manager of Ambrosiano Veneto Bank and Popolare Friuladria Bank of Intesa Sanpaolo Group from 1992. Mr. Giraldo was the Assistant President of Bank of Qingdao from 2012 to 2015.
Alex Fan
Alex Fan is an art Collector and expert on art history. Since 2009, Alex and Vivian Jia have been devoted to protecting and collecting art treasures around the world, including important historical jewelries, European court treasures, Himalayan art, Dunhuang posthumous papers and historical manuscripts. In 2018, Alex and Vivian curated an exhibition themed “Yinian: Dunhuang Xie Jing” at the Guanshanyue Art Museum of Shenzhen. It displayed 4 long scrolls of Xie Jing from Tang Dynasty that were discovered in the Dunhuang Library Cave. From 2019 to 2020, their exhibition Awaken: Royal Jewellery Arts from Renaissance to the 20th Century was on display in Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning. The exhibition features 160 pieces of historical jewelry and royal treasures from over 20 countries and regions spanning 400 years, including the gold leaf from Napoléon’s crown and the collections from the French Bourbon Dynasty.
Louis Godart
Louis Godart is an archeologist. He is a member of the Accademia dei Lincei – founded in 1603, and a member of the French Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres – founded in 1663. He has been the cultural advisor of three Italian Presidents, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi (1920-2016), Giorgio Napolitano, and Sergio Mattarella.
This event is co-organized by the China-Europe-America Global Initiative, the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies, and the Antiquities Coalition, with strategic partners including Yi Tsai and East Langkun, and media partner Tencent Video.
