Introduction of Speakers in Session Three


Louis Godart, an Italian archaeologist, has served as a cultural advisor to three Italian Presidents. He is an expert in Mycenaean archaeology and philology and the author of 29 books and 141 scientific articles on topics relating to the civilizations of the Mediterranean.

 

Zhou Wei is the Vice President of Jin Jiang International Group. In 2012, Zhou Wei joined Jin Jiang International Holding. Ever since then, she has been involved in major cross-border M&A and investment projects including the acquisition of Groupe du Louvre, Accor, Radisson Hotel Group. Since 2016, ZHOU Wei worked as the Chief Investment Officer of Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotel Co., Ltd (HK: 2006) and Deputy CEO of Shanghai Jin Jiang Louvre Asia Hotel Management Company in a row. Before joining Jin Jiang, she used to work for Shanghai City Government, responsible for a myriad of political and economic partnership projects and exchanges at the national and local level.


Bernardo Cabot is a global hospitality executive with a proven 30+year track record of achieving topline financial goals, and maximizing revenues and stakeholder returns on investment. Extensive experience in strategic development and asset management, international agreements, and optimization of hotel management technology services. Culturally savvy and hotelier at heart, dedicated to mentoring the industry’s best and brightest talents.



Joan M. McEntee is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MKBC and former Under Secretary for International Trade in the U.S. Department of Commerce. She has served in a number of senior international trade positions in the U.S. government, covering communication, transportation, aviation, defense and environmental issues. Over the years,Joan has maintained strong relationships with the China and was designated as an economic partner by China’s National Development and Reform Commission. Working with her vast array of Chinese relationships, Joan has successfully assisted companies in raising their visibility, resolving problems, and expanding production.



Pavlos Kontomichalos is Founder and CEO of Hellas Group and Co-Founder and Chairman of Profex Inc. As a successful global businessman with over 30 years of leadership experiences in the US, Canada, China and Greece, he also thrives on building pioneering businesses with a purpose and sustainable value. In 2019, he received the prestigious Magnolia Award from the Shanghai government.

 

Margaret Kan, Co-Founder of 6PM Candle & Fragrance, Miss Hong Kong 2000. Born in Toronto. Grew up in Hong Kong. Worked in Toronto, Hong Kong and Shanghai. A generalist; from research and marketing to BD and general management; with media experience from on-stage to corporate.


Chef de cuisine, Maison Lameloise Shanghai. Originally from Alsace, he debuted his apprentice at the age of 16. After studying in culinary school, he obtained the Bachelor Culinary Management at Institut Paul Bocuse in France and worked with the leading French Michelin-starred chefs including Anne-Sophie Pic (Beau-Rivage Palace, two Michelin stars) and Emmanuel Renaut (Flocon de Sel, three Michelin stars).

Chef Klein joined Maison Lameloise in May 2012 and cooked alongside internationally renowned, three Michelin starred Chef Eric Pras.


Filip Westerlund is Founder and CEO of Our Choice Fashion. He and his team created the world’s first circular and fully recyclable sneaker that is plastic free. The company launched a very successful Kickstarter campaign at the end of 2020. The campaign received great interest from the media and Filip was named a “Young Social Impact Hero” by Thrive Global and featured in Authority magazine as well as dubbed a Circular Economy Pioneer by FashionUnited.uk. Filip is a frequent keynote speaker, lecturer, podcast guest and mentor to other entrepreneurs looking to pivot from a linear model to a circular economy.
